Welcome to the class blog. As soon as you create your blog account using your Angelo State University e-mail (RamMail), please join this site (aka ‘following’). The reason you MUST use your ASU e-mail is to allow your group members to add you as a reader to access others’ blogs. Be sure to follow each person in your group. Do not forget to add your instructor to your blog, as we need to have access to it for grading purposes. If you are enrolled in Mr. McGilvery’s ED2323 section, his e-mail is cmcgilvery@angelo.edu. If you are enrolled in Mrs. Gierke’s ED2323 section, her e-mail is diane.gierke@angelo.edu. This blog will be used to post information about upcoming assignment (i.e. reminder of requirements and helpful tips).
As you begin this course, please know we are here to help guide and support you. If you have any questions, please feel free to post a question on our ED2323 Facebook page. We are going to use Facebook as our question and answer platform. It is highly recommended that you like ED2323 on Facebook to keep up to date with assignment reminders and post any questions or answers you might have on any particular assignments. Click on the link on the right of this blog page to like ED2323 on Facebook. I will post a status that will briefly state the assignment and make it available for students to post questions pertaining to the assignment. If you happen to read another student’s question and know the answer, feel free to respond to them on the comment thread. One of the main reasons I will be using Facebook as a question and answer forum is that many students will have the same questions on an assignment, and this will reduce time spent responding to several e-mails with the same answer. Be sure to check your e-mail, blog, Facebook, and Blackboard daily as there may be new messages pertaining to this course
