My name is Chris McGilvery and I am one of the faculty members for ED 2323. I also teach several secondary education courses. If you are pursuing a secondary certification, I will most definitely have you for another education class. I was born in San Antonio, Texas, but moved all over growing up because my father was in the Air Force. I've lived in Texas, Philippines, California, and Hawaii. My wife and I recently moved to Dominica for her education, which is located in the Lesser Antilles of the caribbean. It's a beautiful island. We sure do miss Texas though. We are both alumni of ASU. It's a great school and I am excited to be back as a faculty member. There are many reasons why I wanted to become a teacher, but now that I have been in the education field for several years I have narrowed it down. My passion for teaching comes from my desire to help others realize their potential. I hope to help you realize your potential to be a great educator that can make an impact on many lives.
